Featured Client Work: Carbon Coco
THEIR STORY:
Carbon Coco is a pioneer in beauty and activated charcoal, offering natural teeth whitening alternatives using 100% certified organic coconut shell charcoal.
WHAT WE DID:
Activating shoppers with new Instagram ad formats.
CAMPAIGN SUMMARY:
Ink Social used Instagram Stories Carousel placement with Value Optimisation to connect with customers in a new way, resulting in a 22% increase in sales.
RESULTS:

· 29.5% increase in return on ad spend (ROAS)
· 21% improvement in ROAS using Value Optimisation
THEIR GOAL:
Carbon Coco wanted to increase sales of its All Natural Teeth Whitener among people aged between 16 and 35 in both Australia and the USA.
RESULTS:
To tell a deeper story to its audience, Ink Social identified the opportunity to use the new Instagram Stories Carousel ad format. This allowed them to include three individual pieces of media in the same Instagram Stories ad. Carbon Coco’s ads featured a range of video reviews and product information, and used the Swipe Up call to action so viewers could click through to their website to make a purchase immediately.
In the second half of the four-month campaign, Carbon Coco used Value Optimisation to refine the people they were reaching based on their likelihood to make a purchase. During the campaign period, Carbon Coco’s highest performing ad placement was Instagram Stories Carousel combined with Value Optimisation. Overall, the campaign delivered a 28% increase in sales in Australia and a 31% increase in the USA. During the Value Optimisation period, Carbon Coco saw a 12% difference in the USA and a 21% difference in Australia for ROAS.
